A: A senior living center like Tranquility of Dalton is for adults who do not need 24/7 skilled nursing care, but who may need some assistance with daily activities such as grooming, dressing, medications, and monitoring of general health... while being supported by trained staff members who ensure our residents receive nutritious meals & snacks, laundry and housekeeping services, and social activities. Age does not reduce the basic human desire for dignity, respect, and independence... and we encourage our residents to remain active and live as independently as possible. Personal emergency notification systems and access to staff 24/7 give our residents peace of mind. (Alzheimer's & dementia care available at Reflections at Tranquility)
Q: Can residents furnish and decorate their own rooms?
A: Absolutely! We want Tranquility of Dalton to truly be our resident's personal home.
Q: What can residents expect at mealtime?
A: Residents at Tranquility of Dalton will enjoy quality restaurant style dining in elegant surroundings... with a variety of quality "home cooked" meals freshly prepared and caringly served by our chef and food service staff. We gladly work with our residents to meet their special dietary needs. Residents may also invite friends or family to dine with them for a modest additional charge... advanced notification is requested if possible.

How are new residents welcomed into their new home?
A: Our staff spends time with each new resident to learn about his or her background, talents, desires, and to find out which activities will make his or her time at Tranquility the most enjoyable. We provide numerous opportunities for residents to interact socially and make new acquaintances. Of course family and friends are always encouraged to drop by.

What social activities do you offer?
A: Our staff features a fulltime activities director who works with Tranquility residents to offer a wide variety of opportunities for fun, entertainment, and social interaction. Our facility features a library, an activities/game room, a large commons room with piano, and an expansive enclosed courtyard... all situated on our 7-acre property. Residents will enjoy special "theme nights", fascinating guest speakers, game tournaments, day trips, and much more.

How are your rates calculated?
A: At Tranquility of Dalton we believe in simplicity... and that means no surprises and no extra charges for various services or levels of care. For one low monthly rate our residents receive their room, meals, utilities, Internet service, premium television programming, laundry, assistance with bathing & dressing, housekeeping services, assistance with medications, medical appointment scheduling, and more. We invite you to speak with our staff to learn more.
Q: How do I pay to live at Tranquility of Dalton?
A: Our residents pay using a variety of methods... including private funds, pension & retirement income, Social Security income, long term care insurance, life insurance equity, Veterans Aid & Attendance for qualified military veterans, and other sources. Typically Medicare and Medicaid are for nursing home stays only and cannot be used for senior living facilities. Please contact our staff for more information.
